1. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old to be represented on Divimaga.lk. If you create or manage a profile for another adult, you confirm that you have their informed permission to provide their information and act on the profile. You are responsible for maintaining accurate information, protecting your login credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
2. Matrimonial purpose
Divimaga.lk is intended for people seeking serious relationships and marriage proposals. It is not an escort service, casual dating service, employment service, financial service or background-investigation agency. You must not use the service for solicitation, commercial promotion, scams, harassment, exploitation or unlawful activity.
3. Profiles, verification and moderation
We may review, approve, reject, hide, suspend or remove profiles and content to protect the service and enforce these Terms. Verification or approval means that specified checks were completed; it does not certify every statement a member makes, guarantee identity beyond those checks, or guarantee character, compatibility, intentions, financial position or suitability for marriage.
4. Member conduct
- Provide truthful information and use your own or authorized photographs/documents.
- Communicate respectfully and respect another member's decision to decline or stop contact.
- Do not request or send money, financial credentials, passwords or sensitive authentication information.
- Do not impersonate others, threaten, harass, discriminate unlawfully, stalk, blackmail or distribute intimate/private material without permission.
- Do not scrape, copy, resell, automate access to or interfere with the platform.
- Use block and report tools when you encounter suspicious or unsafe behaviour.
5. Memberships and paid features
Available plans, prices, durations and features are shown before purchase. Paid access starts when payment is successfully confirmed or manually activated during any pre-launch/testing period. Memberships may expire automatically at the stated end time. Any auto-renewal feature will apply only when it is expressly offered and authorized. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Compatibility scores and member decisions
Search filters and compatibility scores are informational tools based on available profile information and preferences. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not constitute professional advice or a guarantee. You are responsible for evaluating another member, conducting appropriate due diligence, involving family or trusted people as appropriate, and deciding whether to meet or proceed with a relationship.
7. Meetings and safety
Divimaga.lk cannot control conduct outside the platform. Follow the Safety Guidelines before sharing private details or meeting someone. For immediate threats or suspected crimes, contact the appropriate local authorities rather than relying only on an in-platform report.
8. Your content and platform use
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Divimaga.lk a limited permission to host, process, display and moderate that content as necessary to operate the service according to your visibility settings and these Terms. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you upload.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for rule violations, safety concerns, fraud, misuse, legal requirements or material risks to the platform or its users. A suspension may also hide a profile and close member interactions. Where appropriate, members may contact support to seek clarification or review.
10. Service availability and responsibility
We aim to operate a safe and reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or guarantee another member's statements or behaviour. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Divimaga.lk is not responsible for decisions, communications, meetings, relationships, transactions or losses arising solely from interactions between members. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Governing framework and changes
These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable laws of Sri Lanka. Any final dispute-resolution clause, business-entity identification and jurisdiction wording should be reviewed by Sri Lankan legal counsel before commercial launch. We may update these Terms when features, law or operational practices change.
